For a long time I did not include this version on my list as it seems to me it has been replaced adequately by the REB, but it appears some are still using it. The NEB still uses archaic language in prayer (thee/thou) and does not include the gender neutral characteristics of the REB. Many NEB editions are still printed with verse numbers in the margins rather than in the text. There is nothing wrong with using this version, though personally I would prefer the REB on just about all counts.
